Don Anema Memorial Skate Park Northglenn Colorado
The Don Anema Skate Park is located at the southeast corner of E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park, the 15,000-square-foot skate park has been a decade in the making, spearheaded by the city’s youth commission. It was designed and built by Team Pain Skate Parks.
Don Anema Memorial Skate Park has unusual polejams, usually one sided, and rather steep, this one is two sided and rather mellow. It provides beginners to learn how to handle such obstacles. Along with the polejam, there is a bank to bank jersey barrier, with at least six inches of vert.
Don Anema Memorial Skate Park hosts a marble hubba, rails, bank-to-bank gap, plaza elements. The plaza center of the park features a six-stair, step-up and double set that mimic the sets of stairs found in your everyday business plaza. Arched ramps, steep bank, and a toilet bowl round off the park. The bowl is what Team Pain is notoriously know for making them rather extreme, but this one is far more mellow but not without tight corners and pool coping.
