Peach Plaza Skate Park Greensburg Pennsylvania
SITE worked with JT Sauer and Associates and Westmoreland County to design a skate park that is lo1cated within Twin Lakes Park. The concept was to have a skate plaza type of design for the first phase with a bowl to be added on at a later date.
The Peach Plaza opened in 2007 and includes features such as stairs, handrails and ledges. We were able to incorporate some transitional elements into the landscaped planters.
Peach Plaza is an outdoor, cement, no pads required skate park. It features quarters with bowl corners that slope down to flush with the ground. Mini ramp style back to back quarters, long 3 set of stairs with 2 handrails (one square, one round) and a bank in the middle 8? stair with ledge, and handrail Euro Gap. A few ledges Manual pad thats 10” high, drops of 30” high or so long 2 stair C ledge about 11”. high hipped 4′ quarters 5′ quarter over a 4′ wide straight drop gap, and some steep banks, it banks down the side of the 3 stair.
